Naadam Artists Ready to Shine
Preparations for the Naadam Festival in Mongolia are in full swing, with just six days left until the grand event kicks off. More than 1000 artists are set to participate in the festival’s opening and closing ceremonies, with performers hailing from Halimag, Tuva, and Inner Mongolia.
One of the highlights of this year’s festival will be the transformation of heart-touching music into a captivating musical performance. Unlike previous years where professional ensemble artists presented their own performances, this year’s festival will feature music that resonates with the audience on a deeper level.
Thanks to the involvement of professional art organizations, the choreography, field composition, and costumes for the opening and closing activities are already 99 percent complete. The final touches are now being put on the stage setup to ensure a seamless and mesmerizing experience for the audience.
With an estimated 12,000 attendees expected to flock to the festival this year, organizers are working tirelessly to make the event as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To address past issues with inadequate restroom facilities, the construction of nine new toilets – six large and three small – is underway, in addition to improvements to existing facilities. Furthermore, 7,850 parking spaces are being prepared around the central stadium to accommodate the influx of visitors.
Tickets for the Naadam Festival are priced between 80,000 and 150,000 MNT, and will be available for purchase online starting from July 1. Each ticket will feature a QR code that provides information about the festival program and scheduled events, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the rich cultural experience that the festival has to offer.
