New Blood Bank Opens at Famagusta Hospital with Modern Equipment
Health Minister Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek Visits Famagusta State Hospital
Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek recently visited the Famagusta State Hospital to conduct inspections and observe the operations of the medical facility. During his visit, he noted that the Blood Bank at Famagusta Hospital was operational with modern devices, emphasizing that it was designed to provide quicker and more efficient service to patients, particularly emergency cases, interventions, and accidents.
Dr. Dinçyürek also highlighted the hospital’s use of the latest technology devices and the improved quality of service for patients. He announced that the hospital had arranged for faster and more effective service, especially for emergency patients and accident victims. Additionally, he observed the new tomography device and the work of the neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital.
In response to recent complaints circulating on social media, Minister Dinçyürek addressed allegations regarding examination fees collected from emergency services. He clarified that there was a specific fee regulation in place for individuals receiving services, especially those in the fully paid category.
Furthermore, Dr. Dinçyürek urged citizens, especially parents with newborn children, to register their children with relevant state units in order to benefit from the state’s health services. He emphasized that failure to register children could result in them being placed in the full-pay category during emergency situations.
Acknowledging existing issues in the hospital’s application, Dr. Dinçyürek assured that efforts were underway to resolve problems with automation and software. He also expressed the government’s commitment to continuously improving health services for citizens and ensuring healthy days for all.
Accompanying Minister Dinçyürek during his visit were the Famagusta State Hospital Chief Physician Dr. Mustafa Kalfaoğlu and the hospital management. The Minister’s visit aimed to reaffirm the government’s dedication to providing top-quality healthcare services to the community.
