Pianist Rüya Taner Honors Mithat Fenmen and Tulga Cetiz with Recital
Renowned pianist Rüya Taner recently held a special recital at Ankara State Conservatory to honor her beloved piano teachers, Mithat Fenmen and Tulga Çetiz. The event was organized in collaboration with the Ankara Embassy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Directorate, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
Among the distinguished guests present were the Ankara Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, İsmet Korukoğlu, along with ambassadors from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The audience was treated to exceptional performances of works by Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Claude Debussy, and Kodaly, as well as a special composition titled “Doors” by Kamran İnce, which was dedicated to Rüya Taner.
The recital not only showcased Taner’s exceptional talent and skill as a pianist but also paid tribute to her mentors who played a crucial role in her musical journey. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and appreciation for the music that brought everyone together for a memorable evening of celebration and remembrance.
