
President of Turkmenistan Hosts Government Meeting on National Priorities

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan chaired the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 14, where various vice-premiers reported on the progress and plans of different ministries and departments.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, updated the President on the drafting of bills to strengthen law and order, protect citizens’ rights, improve the judicial system, regulate automobile transport, and taxation. Vice-Premier Khodjamyrat Geldimyradov informed about the completion of the “Procedure for Certification of Experts in the Field of Industrial Safety” project.
Deputy Prime Ministers discussed preparations for the 10th meeting of the Turkmen-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission, progress in agriculture, upcoming national events like the Spring Festival and the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, as well as initiatives for youth education and international cooperation in renewable energy.
President Berdimuhamedov approved the proposals and provided specific instructions for further implementation. Discussions at the meeting covered a wide range of issues related to socio-economic development and international cooperation, highlighting Turkmenistan’s commitment to progress and collaboration on a global scale.
This meeting underscores the government’s dedication to addressing key areas of development and fostering partnerships both regionally and internationally.
