New Flight Route Between Uzbekistan and Czech Republic to Operate Once a Week

Private airline Qanot Sharq is gearing up to launch a new route between the capitals of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, with flights scheduled to operate once a week on Thursdays. The flights on the route from Tashkent to Prague and back will begin on April 18.

According to the carrier’s website, the flight schedule is as follows:

– Departure from Tashkent at 10:30, arrival in Prague at 14:30
– Departure from Prague at 16:00, arrival in Tashkent at 1:00

The cost of a one-way ticket for this new route starts from 4,451,142 soums. These prices are current at the time of publication.

Yaroslav Filip, the director of aviation business at Prague Airport, mentioned that negotiations for organizing this flight have been ongoing for more than a year. It is expected that at least 15 thousand passengers will utilize the route in the first year after its launch. Qanot Sharq CEO Moses Pak highlighted the Czech Republic as a priority destination for establishing air links with Europe.

Qanot Sharq is a domestic air carrier based in Tashkent, operating both domestic and international flights with a fleet of six Airbus aircraft. The airline aims to strengthen tourism and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic through this new flight route.
