Revival of Idle Tools in BRTK Archives Sparks Flag of Peace

The Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation has successfully completed its project, “Peace in the Flag/Peace,” in honor of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day. This initiative received support from the Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, and Telsim.

The project focused on forward/recycling and productivity, and it has now been finalized. Various artists, academics, and assistants collaborated on this endeavor, including Eser Keçeci Malyalı, Kemal Behçet Caymaz, Mine Okur, Omid Kalantar, Roya Alegheband, Ruhiye Onurel, Ayhatun Ateşin, Buğu Shah, Ece Kahraman Bulut, Esra Aydın Kılıç, Fevzi Kasap, Levent Duranlı, Nuran Öze, Pelin Agocuk, Shamsullah Shams, Ada Ateşin, Aybüke Soybelli, Eylül Zaim, Hüseyin Oğulcan Bringirmez, İhsan Özdemir, and Mücella Kıran.

These talented individuals created artworks by repurposing tools and equipment that were previously unused in the archives and warehouses of the institution. The exhibition of these works will take place at the Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation on Wednesday, 19 July, at 11:00. This exhibition coincides with the broadcasting of BRT television.

The project’s dedication to promoting peace and using recycled materials demonstrates the importance of environmental conservation and creative solutions.
