Russia to Supply Uzbekistan with Uranium Mining Sensors
Dagestan’s company, “Domalogika,” has signed a contract to supply high-tech products worth over $3.5 million to Uzbekistan. The agreement, made with Uzbekistan-based company “Energopribor,” involves the delivery of measuring sensors for uranium mining from Dagestan.
The CEO of Domalogika, Khasay Yusupanov, stated that the contract received support from the Dagestan Export Support Center. As part of the agreement, Domalogika will provide deep hydrostatic sensors and automated relays for a uranium mining company.
In recent years, Uzbekistan has seen a significant increase in uranium exports. In 2022 alone, the country’s uranium exports to the United States surged by nearly 80%. Last year, Uzbekistan exported 4.44 million pounds of U3O8 equivalent, marking a whopping 78% surge compared to 2021. Consequently, Uzbekistan’s share in the American uranium market has reached 11%.
The signing of this contract between Domalogika and Energopribor not only showcases Dagestan’s expertise in producing high-tech products but also highlights the growing demand for uranium mining equipment in Uzbekistan. This collaboration between the two companies is expected to further strengthen their positions in the industry and contribute to the development of both regions.
