Showcasing Water Cooperation in Central Asia Orient: Calling All Filmmakers and Videographers
Central Asia Water and Energy Program (CAWEP) Launches Video Creation Competition
The Central Asia Water and Energy Program (CAWEP) is calling on emerging filmmakers and videographers from across the region to participate in a video creation competition. This competition presents a unique opportunity to showcase creativity and emphasize the significance of the water-energy theme in the Central Asian region. Water resources and energy are crucial issues for Central Asia, and through video creation, information can be spread, awareness can be raised, and interest can be sparked in tackling these challenges.
The competition is open to students and recent graduates of creative and communication disciplines such as filmmaking, multimedia, graphic design, journalism, PR, and more in Central Asian countries. Additionally, young photo and video professionals with experience in creating similar content are encouraged to participate and must submit a portfolio for consideration.
Participants must be between the ages of 18 to 44 years old. Applications are being accepted until March 20, 2025. From March 24 to April 14, 2025, applications will be reviewed, and the winners will be announced on April 17.
