The 49th Altın Kelebek Awards: Yalı Çapkını Takes Home Best Series Award
The 49th Altın Kelebek Awards, also known as the Golden Butterfly awards, were held at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center with Çağla Şikel and Cem Davran as presenters. The prestigious event honored the best of Turkish television, with Star TV’s popular series “Yalı Çapkını” taking home the award for Best Series.
Producer Onur Güvenatam, writer Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, and the cast of “Yalı Çapkını” were elated to receive the award together. However, it was noted that Mert Ramazan Demir, the leading actor of the series, was unable to attend the ceremony due to illness.
Upon receiving the award, Onur Güvenatam expressed his gratitude and pride, stating, “We are all very happy and proud, a truly magnificent job was done. I would like to thank Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu.”
In addition to the series award, Pınar Deniz was recognized as the best actress, while Salih Bademci took home the best actor award. Furthermore, Serenay Sarıkaya and Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ were awarded the best TV series couple prize.
The event also celebrated Nükhet Duru, who marked her 50th anniversary in the industry, with a lifetime achievement award. The night was made even more special with a performance by Norm Ender, who sang the anthem he composed for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, accompanied by the entire audience and a choir.
