New Exhibition in Amsterdam Showcases Ara Güler’s Iconic Photographs of Istanbul

In addition to Güler’s photographs, the exhibition includes an array of ephemera, such as original book models created by the artist. Visitors will also find clippings of newspaper articles and interviews published in local and foreign press between 1950 and 1980. One of the highlights of the exhibition is the “Creative Americans” series, which features portraits of famous photographers that Güler encountered during his trip to the USA in 1974.
