Contemporary Music Association Organizes Benefit Concert
The Contemporary Music Association has announced that they will be organizing a benefit concert titled “The Past is a Wound in My Heart.” The concert aims to support the surgery and treatment expenses of association member Erkay Yıldız, who lost his vision during his military service.
According to a written statement by the association, the concert has garnered a significant amount of public interest, with all tickets being sold out. The association expressed their gratitude to everyone who has supported them.
The “The Past is a Wound in My Heart” concert is scheduled to take place on Monday, November 27, at 20:00 at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center. The concert will be under the direction of association president and choir conductor Ersin Tünay.
The event will feature instrumentalists from TRT and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey, as well as the Contemporary Music Association TSM Choir. Guest artist Ayşe Ekiz, a soloist from TRT Istanbul Radio, will also be performing at the concert.
