Truck Crane Collapses into Trench for Pipe Installation
A truck crane fell into a trench on Chuponota Street in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent on June 11. The incident occurred while work was being done to replace pipes in the area. The State Committee for Industrial Safety has made a statement regarding the incident.
According to the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, the truck crane fell into the trench due to the negligence of the driver. The driver had driven the crane too close to the hole being repaired, causing the asphalt to give way under the weight of the crane.
Fortunately, both the truck crane driver and the repair personnel involved in the incident escaped without any injuries. The photo taken at the scene shows the aftermath of the crane collapse.
It serves as an important reminder of the importance of following safety protocols and guidelines in construction and repair work to prevent accidents like this from happening in the future.
