
Turkmen Conservatory Launches Spring Concert Series with an Oriental Flair

The Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva is pleased to announce the opening of the spring season of 2025.
Scheduled for March 17, the conservatory will host a concert in its large hall featuring a chamber orchestra led by artistic director Nury Mukhiev, a recipient of the Altyn Asyr award and senior lecturer at the department of choral and orchestral conducting, as well as a young conductor, Kovus Byashimov, a student of the department of orchestral instruments.
Attendees can expect a diverse program showcasing works by both foreign and domestic classical composers such as P.I. Tchaikovsky, E. Napravnik, B. Hudaynazarov, and Ch. Nurymov. The concert will also feature solo performances by internationally acclaimed competition winners A. Mukhieva (violin), D. Gylydzhov (trombone), N. Dzhumageldyev (flute), and K. Orazov (oboe).
This special concert is dedicated to the Novruz Bayram holiday and is open to all classical music enthusiasts. The event will begin at 18:00 in the conservatory’s hall.
