Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan Strengthen Trade and Economic Cooperation
Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, N. Golliyev, met with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan, S. Bolotov, on March 11 to discuss the expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Both parties expressed their interest in deepening the partnership and exploring the significant potential for mutually beneficial ties. They highlighted the upcoming visit of a Kyrgyz business delegation to Turkmenistan as a key step towards further strengthening collaboration.
During the meeting, preparations for new bilateral agreements aimed at enhancing economic relations were discussed. The participants also underscored the importance of high-level participation in events dedicated to declaring 2025 as the Year of Peace and Trust, as well as other related activities.
In conclusion, both sides agreed to maintain regular contact to ensure the successful implementation of previously reached high-level agreements. The commitment to fostering strong ties between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan was evident, setting a positive tone for future cooperation.
