Turkmenistan Sends 125 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan, Including Medical Supplies and Food
Turkmenistan has sent 125 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, including medicines and medical supplies, as well as food and textile products. The assistance was sent in response to the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and is aimed at helping to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the country.
According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, a group of medical workers will also be sent to Afghanistan to provide medical and advisory assistance in a maternity hospital in the village of Turgundi in Herat province. The hospital was built by Turkmenistan as part of its ongoing efforts to support Afghanistan.
The comprehensive humanitarian action is based on the principles of humanism and reflects the long-standing commitment of the Turkmen people to support Afghanistan.
