Gas Shutdown in Bishkek: Two Districts to be Affected Next Week
Residents of two large districts in the capital city of Bishkek will have to brace for a temporary gas outage next week. According to a report from the Bishkekgaz press service, the shutdown is necessary for repair work to be conducted on low and medium-pressure gas pipelines.
The affected areas include Masaliev, Toktonaliev, Akhunbaev, Sheraliev streets, Ala-Archa river, as well as the residential areas Kyrgyzstan-1, Archa-Beshik, and microdistricts Dzhal-29, Dzhal-30, Dzhal-23, Dzhal-15. In addition, boiler houses in the Dzhal microdistrict will also experience a gas supply suspension from June 24th to June 28th.
Furthermore, Lermontov Street, Lenin Avenue, Kirov, and Chapaev streets will face gas shutdowns from June 25th to June 26th.
Bishkekgaz has issued an apology for any inconvenience caused and requested consumers to utilize alternative energy sources during the affected period.
