UK to expel Russian defense attache
The British government has announced new measures aimed at targeting and eliminating Russia’s intelligence gathering operations. According to a joint statement from the Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, and Defense ministries, Home Affairs Minister James Cleverly declared that a package of measures will be implemented to address the issue.

Additionally, the status of “diplomatic facility” will be removed from certain Russian properties in England suspected of being used for intelligence purposes. Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where it was emphasized that Russia’s actions would not be tolerated. British Foreign Secretary David Cameron expressed in the statement that Russia’s attempts to undermine British and European security have become increasingly brazen since the illegal invasion of Ukraine. The new measures are intended to send a clear message to the Russian state and hold them accountable for their malicious activities.
