Uzbekistan Prepares to Celebrate Eid al-Adha in June

The Uzbek President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed a decree determining the date for the celebration of Eid al-Adha this year. According to the document, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, June 16. However, as the first day of the holiday falls on a weekend, the holiday will be officially observed on Monday, June 17.
