Arrival of First Cruise Ship of the Season in Bodrum
The first cruise ship of the season arrived in Bodrum, bringing 475 passengers to the district of Muğla. The “Silver Spirit”, a 212 meter long ship belonging to Silversea Cruises, docked at the Bodrum Cruise Port pier. The Bahamas-flagged cruise ship, arriving from Istanbul Port, had 475 passengers and 410 personnel, mainly of US and British nationality. The ship departed for Rhodes at night.
Global Ports Holding Eastern Mediterranean Ports Director Aziz Güngör announced that they anticipate 97 ships to come to Bodrum Cruise Port this year. He expressed his excitement for another successful cruise season in Bodrum, highlighting the impressive range of ships and continued commitment to providing exceptional service to passengers. The goal is to host more than 100 thousand cruise passengers by 2024.
