Breaking News: President Erdogan’s Statements in Ankara
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the people of Ankara in a rally held at the Başkent Nation’s Garden on 30 April, thanking them for their enthusiasm, love, and commitment. He also praised the crowds that showed up for the rally, saying it was unprecedented in the country’s political history. Erdogan emphasized that the nation would not forgive those who work with terrorist organizations and pursue discrimination instead of work and service.
In his speech, Erdogan also addressed his political rivals, saying that the country would not be divided. He urged the people to vote and assured them that anyone who does not walk with the nation would be seen on May 14th. He added that those who seek power in chaos and coup d’etat are afraid of the ballot box and are already working to make excuses for their losses.
Erdogan stressed that the wealth of a country comes from production and that Turkey needs to strengthen its intellectual and physical production side. He pointed out that for years, Turkey had been deliberately kept away from production based on high technology, becoming an agricultural country but only producing enough to fill their stomachs.
The Turkish president also spoke about breaking the vicious circle in Turkey by extracting mines in the most primitive way and with the lowest added value. Erdogan added that the industry could not switch to arm power-based assembly unit, and trade was left obsolete and could not be opened to the world. However, they have broken this vicious circle, he claimed.
In conclusion, Erdogan said that on May 14th, they would be able to overcome the last obstacles and solve the problems on their way to the Turkish Century. The country must have no remedy other than production, and he urged everyone to work towards this common goal.
