“Crocodile Fever” captivates BRTK audience

The theater play “Crocodile Fire” featuring Turkish Cypriot actor Hazar Ergüçlü has captivated audiences in Kyrenia. In collaboration with Kyrenia Municipality and Biri Global, the play was staged at Girne American University Spectrum Congress Center with the support of various sponsors.

Hazar Ergüçlü expressed her joy and excitement at performing in her homeland and facing the audience for the first time. She shared insights into the play’s storyline, “Crocodile Fire.”

Serdar Tuksal, Kyrenia Municipality Social Affairs Branch Manager and Culture and Arts Advisor, announced that a significant portion of the play’s earnings will be donated to the Champion Angels Survival Association, with the remainder going to the Girne Municipality Animal Shelter.

Ertan Biri, First Global Founding President, emphasized the importance of bringing this esteemed theater production to the TRNC, especially with the participation of a Cypriot talent like Hazar Ergüçlü. He extended gratitude to all involved in the play’s production, as the proceeds will be allocated to meaningful causes.

The play “Crocodile Fire” will be performed for a second time at the GAU Spectrum Congress Center this evening at 8:00 pm. Written by Meghan Tyler, directed by Mehmet Ergen, and translated by Zeynep Anacan, the cast includes renowned actors Hazar Ergüçlü, Funda Eryiğit, Okan Demirok, and Hidayet Erdinç.
