Inaugural International Women’s Day Concert Featuring Myrrha Trio at State Opera and Ballet
The “International Women’s Day Concert” was recently held in Nicosia, in collaboration with the State Opera and Ballet Coordination Center (KKTCDOB) and Myrrha Trio. The event, which was supported by Telsim, saw the participation of President Ersin Tatar, President of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre, his wife Emel Töre, as well as other guests and audience members.
The Myrrha Trio, featuring Soprano Sermin Dikmen Töre and musicians Miray Çakır on violin, Sinem Sadrazam on viola, Püren Eda Gözer on cello, Cansu Özcezarlı on violin, and Göksu Özcezarlı on viola, performed beautifully at the concert. Soprano Sermin Dikmen Töre is a founding artist of KKTCDOB, and the rest of the musicians are members of KKTCCSO.
The “International Women’s Day Concert” was well-received by the audience, who gathered at Bedesten to celebrate the talent and artistry of these incredible female musicians. The event was a beautiful tribute to women in the music industry and a wonderful way to mark International Women’s Day.
