Burak Bilgili, who portrays Mehmet II, discussed the historical context of the Euboea war and Rossini’s portrayal of Turkish characters with a heroic bass tone.

After its premiere on February 24, “Mehmet II” will be showcased at the Atatürk Cultural Center Türk Telekom Opera Hall on February 28, March 2, and March 6. The production features a talented ensemble, including Burak Bilgili and Doğukan Özkan as Mehmet II, Dilruba Bilgi and Gülbin Günay as Anna, and various other accomplished performers in key roles.
