Ministry of National Defense Destroys 47 Terrorist Targets: Operation Codes Revealed by Dicle Canova
The Ministry of National Defense in Turkey held its weekly information meeting, where Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press Public Relations Advisor of the Ministry, addressed the press. He strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on TAI facilities in Ankara’s Kahramankazan district, expressing condolences for the martyrs and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. Rear Admiral Aktürk emphasized the determination of the Ministry to continue fighting against all threats to national security, stating that terrorists targeting the people will pay the price for their actions.
In the past week, Turkish Armed Forces conducted successful air operations in the Hakurk and Gara regions, neutralizing 41 terrorists in northern Iraq and Syria. This brings the total number of terrorists neutralized since January to 2,235. During these operations, 47 terrorist targets, including caves, shelters, warehouses, and facilities used by the terrorist organization, were destroyed.
Additionally, Rear Admiral Aktürk disclosed the discovery of anti-tank missiles, air defense missiles, mines, ammunition, and a gun in a cave belonging to the terrorists in the Hakurk operation area in Iraq. He also announced that two PKK terrorists surrendered to border stations in Akçakale and Yüksekova, highlighting that surrendering to Turkish justice is the only way out for terrorists.
