Nationwide Meteorological Warning: Avalanche and Storm Approaching Across Provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology issued warnings for several provinces in Turkey due to the risk of avalanches and storms. In the eastern part of the country, 14 provinces were put on “yellow” alert for avalanches, including Ağrı, Rize, Giresun, Trabzon, Şırnak, Iğdır, Artvin, Bitlis, Erzurum, Hakkari, Kars, Muş, Van, and Ardahan.
In addition to the avalanche warnings, strong winds are expected to blow in the Marmara region according to the latest forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology. Meanwhile, a “yellow” code warning was also issued for Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, and Istanbul, where a storm is anticipated.
Residents and authorities in these provinces are urged to take necessary precautions and stay updated on the latest weather advisories to ensure their safety.
