The Spirit of Çanakkale Continues to Inspire Future Generations
Historical houses have been painted and roads have been repaired in Çanakkale as part of a project that has been ongoing for the past 5 years. A documentary film was recently released to showcase the extensive work that has been done in the region.
The Salute to Victory project, in collaboration with the Gallipoli Historical Area Presidency of the Gallipoli Wars, has seen numerous improvements over the years with the sponsorship of a private paint company. Company General Manager Tayfun Küçükoğlu expressed his belief that the Çanakkale spirit will play a vital role in the future development and modernization of the country.
One of the key projects under this initiative is the “Ataturk Road,” which highlights the details of the Çanakkale victory and the heroic efforts of the Turkish army. Küçükoğlu emphasized the significance of this project in narrating the story of the seemingly impossible victory that was achieved during the battles in Çanakkale.
The premiere of the documentary “Salutation to the Spirit of Çanakkale” received great interest in Istanbul, showcasing the continued strength and inspiration drawn from the Çanakkale victory. İsmail Kaşdemir, Head of the Gallipoli Historical Area, described the emotional experience of being in a place rich with memories of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the presentation of the Mustafa Kemal Road project.
Looking ahead, Company General Manager Tayfun Küçükoğlu stated that the activities carried out under the historical area chairmanship will only increase in the coming years, ensuring that the legacy of Çanakkale and its spirit continue to serve as a source of inspiration for future generations.
