President Tatar Attends AKSA Fotofest Photography Competition Award Ceremony
“Aksa Energy supports photography and charity with VIII Congress and AKSA Fotofest”
This year, Aksa Energy organized the VIII Congress in support of the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association. The event included an award ceremony and the opening of the AKSA Fotofest Photography Contest in Famagusta, with the participation of President Ersin Tatar. 54 winning works from the contest were put up for sale, and the proceeds will be donated to the Association for the Survival of Champion Angels.
President Tatar expressed his gratitude to AKSA Energy for their support and sensitive attitude towards the development of photography in TRNC. He also emphasized the importance of photography in immortalizing the historical richness of Famagusta.
The event, which brought together art lovers and the business world, also included speeches from Famagusta Mayor Dr. Süleyman Uluçay, Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association President Ruşen Karakaya, Aksa Fotofest Coordinator Zekai Altan, and Aksa Energy TRNC Kalecik Power Plant Manager Şener Şentürk. They highlighted the unifying power of art in society.
The photography exhibition, featuring reflections of life and historical texture in Famagusta and Maraş, will be open to art lovers in Bandabuliya, located in the historical walled area of Famagusta, until December 29. The public can support the cause by purchasing the works in the exhibition, contributing to the preservation of the names of the Champion Angels who lost their lives in the earthquake and the training of more young athletes in TRNC.
