“Silk Cocoon Festival: Celebrating May 6-7”
The 18th Cyprus Silk Cocoon Days will take place on May 6-7 in cooperation with Girne Municipality, Green Peace Movement, Beylerbeyi Muhtarlığı and TRNC Telsim Communication Sponsorship. The event opening will be held at 14:00 on May 6, and it will include an exhibition, various presentations, stands, poetry recitals, handicraft works, planting saplings, and music concerts. Free public transportation will be available between Baldöken Parking Lot and the event area from 10:00 to 20:00 on the days of the organization. However, due to the earthquake disaster that occurred in Turkey on the same day as the event, stage activities such as concerts and folklore will not take place. It is a great opportunity for those interested in cultural events to visit and experience the Silk Cocoon Days.
