Ulaanbaatar to Plant 1.5 Million Flowers

This year, a total of 1.5 million flowers of 15 different species will be planted across 99 locations in 9 districts of Ulaanbaatar. The efforts to beautify the city with flowers are well underway, with over 150 thousand flowers already planted and completion progress standing at 30 percent. The ambitious goal is to have all 1.5 million flowers planted by June 10.

Compared to last year, when almost 1.2 million flowers were planted in Ulaanbaatar, this year’s initiative is set to make an even bigger impact.
