What’s On: Istanbul Events This Week
Art lovers in Istanbul have a lot to look forward to this week, with a wide range of events taking place across the city. From concerts to exhibitions, theater shows and performances, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Istanbul State Theater is currently showing plays such as “The Age of the Innocents, the Age of the Criminals”, “In My Father’s Words”, and “The Actor”. The musical “Little Shop of Horrors” and the children’s play “Garbage Monster” are also delighting audiences on IDT stages.
For those interested in concerts, Levent Yüksel’s “30th Anniversary Symphonic Concert” and Istanbul State Opera and Ballet’s “Stabat Mater” concert are not to be missed. The Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra will also be hosting a Gala Concert at the Atatürk Cultural Center.
If you’re more into exhibitions, make sure to check out “Gılaf-ı Reyya: Fragrance Bottles from the Ottoman Empire to the Present” at the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum.
