Gasoline Prices Decline in Kyrgyzstan
Gasoline Prices Drop in Kyrgyzstan
In a recent report by the 24.kg news agency, it has been revealed that gasoline prices have dropped in Kyrgyzstan in January. Kanat Eshatov, the head of the Association of Oil Traders, provided this information to the news agency.
According to Eshatov, fuel prices have decreased by half compared to previous months. In December 2024, gasoline prices fell by 3 soms, and in January 2025, they dropped by 4-5 soms. Eshatov attributes these price reductions to seasonal discounts aimed at selling off remaining fuel and lubricants.
However, despite the current drop in prices, oil traders are forecasting that the cost of fuel and lubricants will rise again after the New Year holidays in Russia. This means that consumers may see an increase in gasoline prices in the near future.
For now, consumers in Kyrgyzstan can enjoy the benefits of lower gasoline prices, but it is advised to stay updated on any changes that may occur in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
