Qassam Brigades Encounter Obstructions in Ceasefire Mediation
Qassam Brigades’ Spokesperson Abu Ubeyde has made a strong statement regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza. On the 200th day of Israel’s war against Gaza, Abu Ubeyde revealed that the Israeli government has hindered any efforts for a ceasefire through mediation. He emphasized that despite the enemy’s attempts, they have not been able to achieve their goals of causing destruction and murder in Gaza.
Abu Ubeyde further stated that the continuous attacks by Israel only fuel the determination of the Palestinian people to defend their rights. He made it clear that the resistance will not waver until basic human rights, such as the cessation of attacks, withdrawal of the enemy, return of the displaced, reconstruction, and lifting of the blockade, are ensured.
“We will continue our attacks and resistance as long as the invaders are on our land,” Abu Ubeyde declared, dismissing Israel’s claims of eliminating all resistance groups. He highlighted the importance of maintaining resistance against the occupiers and emphasized that the struggle will persist.
Speaking about the Israeli captives held by Hamas, Abu Ubeyde questioned the lack of concern from the Israeli government, especially towards captives like Shaul Aaron, Hadar Golden, Mengistu, and Hisham al-Sayyid. He warned that the families of these captives will suffer the consequences of the government’s neglect.
Abu Ubeida also touched upon the significance of resistance actions on various fronts, particularly in the West Bank. He saluted the resilience of the people in the West Bank and commended their steadfastness in the face of adversity.
In conclusion, Abu Ubeida expressed his belief that Iran’s reaction has set new rules in the conflict and has disrupted the occupier’s calculations.
