Detained Uncle Arrested in 13th Day of Narini Search Efforts
Authorities have made a significant breakthrough in the case of the missing teenager, Narin Güran, from the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district. The incident, which took place on August 21, has captivated the community and stirred up a frenzy of search efforts.
After Narin did not return home from a Quran course and her family’s search efforts came up empty, her father reported her missing to the authorities. What followed was a massive search operation involving various law enforcement agencies and rescue teams, along with the local community.
Surveillance footage from the school captured the last images of Narin on August 21, providing a crucial lead in the investigation. Additionally, the discovery of two children’s slippers during search operations added to the mystery surrounding Narin’s disappearance.
During the investigation, suspicions turned towards Narin’s uncle, SG, who is also the headman of the Tavşantepe Neighborhood. DNA samples taken from SG’s vehicle were found to match those on Narin’s clothes, leading to his arrest on charges of deliberate murder and restricting a person’s liberty.
After being taken into custody and questioned, SG was ultimately arrested and sent to prison by the judge overseeing the case. This development marks a significant turn in the investigation and offers hope for answers in the search for Narin Güran.
