President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to visit UAE and Egypt in 2024
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been invited to pay official visits to the United Arab Emirates on February 12-13, 2024 and to the Arab Republic of Egypt on February 14, 2024. The announcement was made by the Directorate of Communications.
During his visit to the UAE, President Erdoğan will attend the World Government Summit in Dubai on February 13 as the guest of honor. The theme of the summit is “Shaping the Governments of the Future.” President Erdoğan will address the summit as the main speaker, bringing together officials from various countries, international organizations, private sector, academia, civil society, think tanks, media representatives, and business people.
Additionally, President Erdoğan is expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from participating countries, particularly the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Following the summit, President Erdoğan will travel to Egypt, where his talks in Cairo will focus on developing relations between Turkey and Egypt and revitalizing high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms. The agenda of the meetings will also include discussions on current global and regional issues, including the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The upcoming visits of President Erdoğan to the UAE and Egypt are expected to further strengthen diplomatic ties and cooperation between the respective countries.
